Pre-Competitive
This class is by invitation only and is designed to introduce girls to the competitive program to help them decide if they are interested in the competitive stream. This class allows girls to be challenged but without the commitment and obligations that go along with the competitive program. It is also for girls who want to go in the competitive direction but are either not ready or old enough yet.

Regional Stream Competitive Program
This is the largest competitive stream in Manitoba. Our competitive program is for both male and female gymnasts from the beginner level to the most advanced, who want to participate in various competitions through the province. This invitation-required program puts an emphasis on having fun yet demands a commitment to working hard.  Gymnasts work on skills that help them do better when competing in the sport and that make then feel good about themselves and their achievements while supporting and encouraging others to do the same. As the gymnasts’ progress and higher levels are achieved, further competitions beyond the regional stream can be introduced as the gymnasts further develop their skills.

The program is evaluated by MGA on an annual basis and routine requirements are refined to challenge the level of athlete, keep them interested in participating, and to stay current with the developments made in the sport. The Gymnasts train 2-3 times a week.

The program assists in the development of athletes, coaches and officials. It also involves many volunteers from the community to host events. All Gymnasts and Coaches must be registered members and in good standing with the Manitoba Gymnastics Association.
