Can you believe we're coming up to our LAST WEEK of Fall Session?! We want to give you the chance to come be a part of your gymnast's last gymnastics class with Display Week!
Display Week will happen during your child's regularly scheduled gymnastics class on the following dates:
Tuesday, April 22 ; Thursday, April 24 ; Saturday, April 26
Here, your child will receive their certificate of completion, as well as be given the chance to move around the gym and show you their favourite skills! Due to space limitations within our gym, please limit spectators to 2 adults/gymnast. If you or your child can't make it, please don't worry - we have good news:
Our CANGym reports are moving online to Uplifter! This means your child's progress report and recommendation will be available on your profile as they continue at Selkirk Selects in future years. Please provide us some grace as we navigate this new report method - we're hoping to have them uploaded by early May.
We can't wait to see you all next week!

Come join our fantastic team of coaches at Selkirk Selects Gymnastics! Our program is growing and expanding, and to meet the needs of our community we are looking to hire more coaches for our preschool and recreational programming for September of 2024. We are looking for experienced coaches AND brand-new coaches; so long as you have a passion for working with children and are a strong team player, apply! Gymnastics experience an asset but not necessarily required.
Hours:
8-20hrs per week
Requirements:
A passion for teaching children aged 1.5-9yrs old
Ability to collaborate with other coaches
Energetic, responsible and reliable
Gymnastics Foundations trained (or willing to complete prior to starting)
Valid CPR/First aid (or willing to complete prior to starting)
Experience working with young children (summer camps, daycares, coaching other sports, babysitting)
Gymnastics experience an asset but not necessarily required
Pay:
Based on qualifications and experience.

If wanting to purchase photos, please bring the attached order form with appropriate payment to give to the photographers on picture day. Coaches will NOT be accepting photo forms prior to picture day.
PRE-COMP:
Please wear either: Purple DNA training suit/singlet and shorts, or any bodysuit or short/t-shirt combo.
COMPETITIVE:
Please wear your competition suit. You may bring an alternate suit to change into after photos. Hair may be worn up or down. Check email for information on specific date of pictures.

Our very own Coach Lily would like to invite you to her open gym initiative, “Tumble for Tummies” to raise money and donations for the Selkirk Food Bank!
On January 7th between 2-5pm, drop in to the gym and do some gymnastics with the help of our certified coaches! This is open to both existing Selects members and the public, ages 8+!
Cost of entry is a cash donation of your choosing, and/or a non-perishable food donation.
Non-members must have a completed waiver (either done at the door or prior to the open gym) and participants under 18 need a parent/guardian to sign (though they don’t need to stay). Consent forms done prior must be printed.
Capacity restrictions will be placed in the gym, and upon reaching said capacity, entering participants may need to wait in our viewing area for up to 15 minutes. Coaches will cycle out participants in 15 minute slots if capacity is reached.
